Birmingham Airport wanted to promote long-haul flights and position itself as the start of memorable journeys.
Appealing to travellers looking for meaningful experiences, we explored travel through emotional nostalgia and relatable humour. The first concept highlights meaningful places and personal moments to evoke shared memories, while the second concept uses playful exaggerations of familiar airport ‘characters’ to generate relatable recognition and humour.
Together, the concepts reinforce Birmingham Airport as a gateway to memorable journeys, engaging both frequent flyers and occasional travellers.
